Having fired their manager few weeks ago, Everton are in the process of looking for a new manager. Rafa Benitez was relieved as Everton's manager after he failed to turn things around at Goodison Park.
A number of top managers have been linked with the job at Everton. This includes Victor Pereira,Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Wayne Rooney. Links between Solskjaer and Everton have cooled down lately.
The former Manchester United's manager is yet to find a new job since leaving Old Trafford late last year. Wayne Rooney has dismissed claims linking him with Everton. Rooney is currently managing championship club Derby county.
Despite having played for Everton in his professional career, Rooney has stated that he is not interested in the vacant managerial job at Everton. This has left football fans surprised as many expected him to easily agree. He has admitted that he is preparing to manage in the premier league in future. However, currently he is determined with his job at Derby.
