Norwegian International playmaker made a return to the Bernabeu after a promising loan spell in north London with Arsenal hoping for an inclusion into the first team after the arrival of former Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelloti from Everton FC following the departure of previous manager Zinedine Zidane.

Martin Ødegeadard hopes to get regular playing time under Carlo Ancelotti diminished during pre-season, with his worst fears now compounded by not being registered for the club or given shirt number.
As it stands, the 22-year-old Norwegian playmaker is not included on the team to face Alaves on Saturday evening, nor has he been assigned a shirt number by the club.
The likes of players like Gareth Bale have also returned from their loan spells, Bale who was at Tottenham has been registered with shirt number 18. Luka Jovic has also returned and handed shirt number 16 unlike, Jesus Vallego, Martin Ødegeadard and Dani Ceballos who was also at Arsenal has not been registered and handed a shirt number.
