Erik ten Hag hits out at Manchester United Players

Erik ten Hag is set to take charge of Manchester United at the end of the season as per his contract. He has been watching Manchester United play and he has not been impressed by the players at all. He has identified that most players are not fit enough which is why the team is lacking the impact despite the many good players in the team.

United players were supposed to report for pre season on 4th July and start on preparations for the next season. However, this will not be the case. Erik ten Hag has ordered the players to report 2 weeks earlier than expected. This is because he feels the team needs extra hours on practice so that they can get the fitness he needs them to have.

With the expected date of return to Carrington for training now on June 20th, Erik ten Hag will have ample time with the existing squad to evaluate them and know who needs to stay or leave. It will also give the players enough time to adjust to his mode of playing which is more tactful and impactful than what they have been doing.

If the players are quick to adopt Erik’s style of play, Manchester United fans will have something positive to look up to for in the upcoming season.
