Based on the player ratings, performance and results from Match Week 8, below are the 11 players that managed to form the EPL team of the week:
Chelsea goalkeeper Eduardo Mendy was there to produce an impressive performance for another time on Saturday. The Senegalese managed to stop the likes of Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo from finding the back of the net.
The position had a stiff competition due to various high class performance. However, Tino Livramento, Nathaniel Ake, Lewis Dunk and John Stones formed the back four.
Leicester City Belgian star Youri Tielemans continued with his best form against Manchester United and he has been paired with Kevin De Bruyne and John McGinn in the midfield.
Apart from the defence, the striking role also exhibited a very stiff competition. Danny Ings, Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah, Harry Kane and others were on a good form.
However, Liverpool duo Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino formed an attacking partnership with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy.
