Spain Thrash Slovakia 5-0 as They Qualify for Euro 2020 Round of 16

2010 World cup winners Spain humiliated Slovakia 5- 0 to secure their spot in the Euro round of 16 playoffs.

Spain entered the match with with two points sitting at position three behind Sweden and Slovakia.

Luos Enrique's side were awarded a penalty in the 12th minutes of play but Alvaro Morata was denied by Slovakias keeper Martin Dubravka.

In the 30th minutes Slovakia loosened their difference by conceding an on goal.

Just before the end of the first half Gerald Moreno delivered a teasing cross to the back post for Aymeric Laporte to head in his first international goal for spain.

Pablo sarabia scored the third in the 56th minute after Jordi Alaba delivered a good cross. The party continued for the Spanish side as Ferran Torres netted in the fourth.

Slovakia conceded another goal in the 71st minute to make it five.

In another group E match, Sweden defeated Poland 3-2 to finish top of the group.

Spain qualified as second position.
