Good News From Emirates As Arsenal Completes 7th Signing as Trio is Set To Exit On Deadline Day

Arsenal has reached an agreement with Bologna to sign right back Takehiro Tomiyasu on a permanent basis for €23 million. Personal terms were agreed upon by Tomiyasu through June 2025, with an option to extend for another season. In the afternoon, Takehiro will undergo medicals before being officially introduced as Hector Bellerin's replacement. If Barcelona fails to make a final approach for Bellerin, he is expected to join Real Betis. Bellerin is willing to take a wage cut in order to complete the Arsenal move before the midnight deadline.

After Hector Bellerin, the Gunners are expected to release two more players, Reiss Nelson and Maitland Niles. Nelson, a 21-year-old Arsenal wonderkid, is presently having Feyenoord medicals in preparation for a loan move. Willian's contract at Arsenal, earning £240K per week, was cancelled with two years remaining when the player opted to join his boyhood club Corithians in Brazil. Arsenal has ordered Maitland Niles to practice alone following his desire for a loan move to Everton, with the star willing to leaving the Emirates this summer.
