World Cup 2022: Check Out The Teams That Have Already Qualified For The Competition

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from November. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the last to contain 32 teams as FIFA plans to expand the teams to 48 teams starting from the 2026 World Cup which will be held jointly by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Some teams have already qualified for the FIFA World Cup next year and here is the list of the already qualified teams so far.

1. Qatar

Qatar was the first team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup since being named the host. It has always been a rule in FIFA that the host country must always qualify for the tournament they are hosting.

2. Germany

After their 4-0 win against North Macedonia, Germany was officially the first team to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup through the normal qualification process.

Germany had a poor campaign in the 2020 Euros and will be looking to get over that and find their best form in the World Cup.

This time it will be different for Germany as they will be under Hansi Flick who took over from Joachim Low.

3. Denmark

Denmark became the second team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with a 1-0 win over Austria on Tuesday, capping an emotional year for the national team.

The World Cup will be in November and not be hosted in the customary European summer window for the first time. This is because of the high temperatures in Qatar over the summer which would make it difficult for the players and supporters. It was then decided that November is the best time to host the tournament.
