Harambee Stars Outclassed By Comoros

The Kenya national Soccer team 'Harambee Stars' have been beaten by minnows Comoros away in Moroni.

Comoros took the lead in the 21st minute through El Fardou with Kenya equalizing in the 36th minute through Clifford Nyakeya.The first half ended all square at 1-1.

In the second half,Comoros took the lead once again when Mattoir scored in the 49th minute.Kenyan tactician Jacob 'Ghost' Mulei did a flurry of substitutions in an effort to at least draw level if not win the game,but the Comorans defended valiantly and held on to win the match.

Comoros now lead Group G in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers with 8 points, Egypt is second with 5 points, Kenya third with 3 points while Togo is last with a solitary point.Kenya now faces an uphill task of winning the last two matches against Egypt at home and Togo away in order to have any chance of qualifying for the continental football showpiece.
