Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee surprised many Kenyans after he named his 36-man squard for the 2022 world cup qualifiers against Uganda cranes and Rwanda. The list leaves out Harambee stars captain Victor Wantama,Johanna Omollo and Simba Fc defender Joash Onyango.
Harambee stars are set to play against Uganda on September,2nd 2021 at Nyayo stadium,after which they will travell to face Rwanda on Friday,September 3,2021. They will compete in group E against Mali,Uganda and Rwanda.
Some of the goalkeepers whom appeared on Melee's list include James Saruni(Ulinzi stars),Joseph Okoth(KCB),Ian Otieno (Zesco united-Zambia) and Brian Bwire(Kariobangi Sharks).
Some of the defenders included in the list include Joseph Akumu, Eric Ouma(AIK-Sweden),Harun Shakava(Kogalo),Baraka Badi among others. Mid-fielders included Eri Johanna,Boniface Muchiri,Patilla Omoto and Abdala Hassan.
At the striking,Mulee selected Michael unga,Masud Jum a,Cliffton Muheso,Erick Kapito,Samuel Onyango and Benson Omalla. The Kenyan head coach said that he is sure of his young stars squad and expects the best results from the.
