Manchester City To Miss Two Key Players Against United, Guardiola Confirms

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that his team will miss the services of two key players ahead of Sunday's Manchester derby.

The City boss confirmed that John Stones will be missing Sunday's match after he sustained an injury during England's 3-3 draw against Germany earlier this week. When questioned on how long Stones is expected to be out, the Spanish managed averagely quoted a period of 10 days to two weeks.

City will also continue to miss the services of Kalvin Phillips who has been out since the start of the season due to a shoulder surgery. Concerning his situation, Pep said that they were hoping that the midfielder will be fit to play the world cup in Qatar.

Aymeric Laporte will be making a return after a long spell on injury.

Manchester City will be hosting United at Etihad stadium at 4pm EAT in the 188th Manchester Derby.
