Manchester United are expected to make major moves in January as Ten Hag seeks to add depth into his squad. The Rest Devil’s believe that they have finally found the perfect manager who can take them to the next level and the board is ready to financially back him in January. Accordingly, the scouts have been compiling comprehensive reports on targets, including France’s highly rated Adrien Rabiot.
“Rabiot is currently sick and that is why he missed yesterday’s clash. This should be the perfect time to approach him for a move to Manchester United. The pressure at Juventus is getting out of hand and the best move for him would be to seek refuge under Ten Hag,” Garry Neville recently noted in his punditry at Sky Sports.

Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Rabiot despite a failed move in the summer. Erik Ten Hag is of the idea of adding depth into his midfield by signing Rabiot who he believes will form a strong partnership with Casemiro. Talks have not been started but could be initiated once the World Cup adjourns this Sunday.

My opinion
Fred is likely to be the victim of Rabiot’s potential move. Reports inside the club have revealed that Ten Hag is slowly losing his patience with Fred who has failed to his expectations in the midfield department. Fred has no known interest in the market but his quality cannot go unrendered incase he parts ways with the club in the near future.

Rabiot’s technical ability and work rate could notch Manchester United’s midfielder higher in more ways than one. His goalscoring record is impressive for a player of his position and the fact that he is an aerial threat both offensively and defensively makes him even more enticing to clubs. With the right level of persuasion I believe snatching Rabiot in January will be easy.
