Solksjaer Talks on Quitting After Liverpool's 5-Star Performance as Antonio Conte Talks Reemerge

Manchester United might have suffered the worst defeat to Liverpool in recent years after a 5-0 thriller at home. Naby Keita and Diogo Jota were on the score sheet then after Mohamed Salah netted a hat trick to deeply sink the Red Devils. The loss got fans raging on social media platforms as they demanded Ed Woodward and The Glazzer family to swing into appropriate action to sack the manager.

Whilst all these dismal performances, United's hierarchy has been disinterested in sacking him, bestowing hope and confidence upon his hands. Despite all the red flags defeats against Villa, Leicester and now, Liverpool there's no action yet. Instead, the Glazzer family is busy investing in an IPL club in the United Arab Emirates.

Norwegian manager seems to have been disappointed with the United performance on Sunday. Nevertheless, he is unshaken stating that he has come from far to be shaken by quitting his job. Obviously, he could be making sense but back to back losses would not appeal to his fans who already believed the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo would put them on title contending conversations.

The Red Devils hierarchy wanted a man of Antonio Conte's pedigree in 2018 when they sacked Mourinho but how they settled on Ole Gunnar Solksjaer leaves Manchester United fans in deep disappointment. Despite dragging Conte to replacement topics, he seems not convinced with that project. It was in 2018 when Chelsea prematurely terminated his contract and, he is somehow fearful the history might repeat itself with United.
