Jubilations as Defender Has ' Verbally Agreed' to Join Chelsea Despite Other Interests

The summer transfer window is at it's peak with top European clubs battling for their dream targets in an attempt to strengthen their squads ahead of next campaign, something which is opposite when it comes to Chelsea.

Despite holding talks with targets, the Stamford Bridge heavyweights are yet to sign any player amidst their shaky backline and misfiring attacking options.

It should be noted that Tuchel's main priority has always been to sign at least two centrebacks and an attacker considering the departures of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Romelu Lukaku with Hakim Ziyech as well facing a loan move.

However according to the Sun Football, Dutch International and Juventus ace Matthijs De Ligt is favouring a move to Stamford Bridge despite interests from premier league champs Manchester City and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

De Ligt, 22 is pushing for an exit and therefore Chelsea are willing to work out a £65m fee to land his services in an attempt to bolister their backline.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have received a huge boost in their pursuit of Jules Kounde after reports that the club is now looking for his replacement.

Lastly in your opinion, Do you think De Ligt is the perfect target for Tuchel's squad?
