Chelsea Star Who Proved Graham Potter Wrong For Benching Him in Yesterday's Match

Graham Potter started his Chelsea managerial career with a draw against Austrian club RB Salzburg. The English manager was hoping to get a win at Stamford Bridge yesterday but a late equaliser from the visitors saw the Blues share a point with Salzburg.

The Blues showed a lot of attacking-minded football in the match after they had 16 goal attempts in the match unlike under the previous manager when they had fewer chances. They started the game on a high end creating numerous chances in the first half and failed to find the back of the net.

They had 8 goal attempts in the first half but didn't have a shot on target and despite their hard work, the first half ended in a goalless draw. The Blues couldn't find a hotel until the second half when they seemed better in the match.

English forward Raheem Sterling scored the opener three minutes into the second half with a brilliant goal to the bottom corner after an exceptional pass from his fellow countryman Mason Mount. The Blues continued attacking to get second but ended up conceding in the 75th minute through Noah Okafor.

Potter started a brilliant squad but after Christian Pulisic came on in the second half he had and he made a remarkable impact for the rest of the match. The 23-year-old looked sharp after he replaced Raheem Sterling and he almost helped Chelsea get a winner in the final minutes of the match.

The American winger could have made more impact in the match if Graham Potter had started him as he proved he still got the magic touch. Pulisic might greatly thrive under the new manager as his tactics are more attacking than defending.
