According to renowned footballer Victor Wanyama, he has completely retired from international football but will focus more on local football including the Harambe stars, the national team. He has remained clear that his decision was based on merit especially having represented Kenya at the international stage.
Untill his retirement he was the Montreal club captain. However one interesting thing that he has revealed today is that he would want to leave the stage for the young generation so they can as well showcase their talent.
The fact that he is retiring from football to give the young generation a space to showcase what they can do in football just confirms he was truly a person of repute. This confirms Wanyama is a person who cares a lot about the next generation.
It's surprising they Victor Wanyama cares about the upcoming generation as opposed to most leaders who are mainly against the youths. It's all the best to Victor Wanyama for he has a lot in tray that he would want to achieve moving into the future.
