Kylian Mbappe missed a very important penalty leading to World cup Champions and Euro favourites France being knocked out of the competition.
Mbappe missed clear chances in the match after Manchester United maestro Paul pogba produced a stunning performance squeezing clear and open chances to him but couldn't find the net.
Paris St. Germain forward missed more than 4 open chances and later missed the fitth penalty to send Switzerland through to the quarterfinals.
Since the tournament commenced the 22 years Old has not find the net in four matches.
Mbappe was a hero in France winning the 2018 FIFA World cup scoring 4 goals in the tournament including one in the final.
Coming into the Euro 2020 Championship many believed in Mbappe showcasing his talent again. But it was a total disappointment for the young France international. Instead he just eliminated his team from the tournament.
Mbappe miss gave Switzerland their first qualification for quarterfinals in major trophies. They will now play against the 2020 FIFA World cup Champions Spain.
