Harambee stars will be confronting three countries in the first round of world cup qualifying stage.
Jacob, the Kenya team coach, said that he will not keep foreign players missing games at the expense of performing locals.
“If the league will resume soon, we will have a good opportunity of weighing the players we already have in the current team and also some other new faces we would want to include for the upcoming matches. The World Cup qualifiers are here and with the kind of opponents we have, we need our players to be active to be able to tackle them,” said Jacob.
He appealed to the government of Kenya to suspend covid-19 measures soon in order to restart his training earlier for upcoming matches.
He has also been incorporating new players from local teams to develop a new team. James, Clyde and Daniel are among the new players.
