Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru has penned a warm message to the French forward Kylian Mbappe as he celebrated his 24th birthday.
Mbappe has been the talk of the world as he propelled France to be finalists in the just concluded Qatar 2022 championships.
Even though France lost narrowly to Argentina in the penalty shoot outs, Mbappe has been hailed as a "Goat" in the world of soccer, almost surpassing Messi's achievements despite his tender age.
As many were took by surprise when Waiguru wished Mbappe a happy birthday, they now indeed knew that she was a lover of soccer, a hobby perceived to be masculine.
" Kylian Mbappé participated in two World Cup editions. Played in two World Cup finals. Won one World Cup trophy. Scored 12 World Cup goals. Won one World Cup Golden Boot. And all before he turned 24! Not a mean feat indeed! HBD to Mbappé, " Waiguru wrote.
