22 year old Norwegian international Erling Haaland has been Manchester City's best player by far this season. He has already managed 23 goals in all competitions for the club this new season. His absence in the squad yesterday during their champions league group stage clash against Sevilla saw many conclude City would struggle. This was however not the case as the English side made easy work of the Spanish club. One goal and two assists from Argentina's 22 year old striker Julian Alvarez propelled City to a comfortable three goal to one victory.
Alvarez's man of the match performance saw him make three successful dribbles, two big chances created, four key passes and two shots on target made. Thanks to him,City finished top of their champions league group stage and are headed for the round of sixteen.Even as they head back to premier league football over the weekend,City are not worried about Haaland's injury. With or without him there is no doubt that they will be just fine.
