Harambee Stars Players Selected To Play In AFCON

Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee has selected local players within the country who will take part in Africa Cup of Nation. He named the provisional squad to take part ahead of comoros clash. The following players have been selected according to their good performance this season;

Arnold Origi of HIFK, Finland, Robert mboya of Tusker Fc, Brian Bwire of Kariobangi Sharks, Timothy Odhiambo of Ulinzi Stars and Ian Otieno of Zesco United, Zambia have been selected as goalkeepers.

Johbstone Omurwa of Wazito FC, Brian Mandela and Joash Onyango of Simba united, Tanzania, Daniel Sakari of Kariobangi Sharks, Andrew Juma of Gor Mahia, Mike Sibwage of Sofapaka, Joseph Okumu of Elfsborg, Sweden and Samweli Olwande of Kariobangi Sharks, Baraka Badi of KCB, David Owino of Zesco, and David Owino of Mathare united have been selected as the best defenders.

Kenneth Muguna of Gor Mahia, Victor Wanyama of Montreal,Canada, Ismael Gonzalez of Las palmas, Spain,. Eric Johanna Omondi of Jonkopings, Sweeden, Cliff Nyakeya of Masr FC, Egypt, Antony Akumu of Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa, Musa Masika of Wazito FC, Bonface Muchiri of Tusker FC, Lawrence Juma of Sofapaka and Johanna Omolo of Cercle Brugge, Belgium have been selected as midfielders.

Michael Olunga of Kashiwa Reysol Japan, Benson Omala of Gor Mahia, Masud Juma of JS Kabylie, Algeria, John Avire of Tanta FC, Egypt and Oscar Wamalwa of Ulinzi stars have been selected as forwards.
