Well, Samuel Eto'o will always be remembered as one of the best strikers the football world has ever seen. The Cameroonian international played for top European clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Everton. During his professional soccer days, Samuel Eto'o played under some of the best football managers like Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.
During an interview, the African star was asked to name the best coach he played under during his soccer days. Well, it might surprise many football fans that the best coach Samuel Eto'o played under is neither Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola. According to Samuel Eto'o, his favorite coach was the late Luis Aragonés.
Samuel Eto'o said;
"The best coach I had? It is difficult to choose one, but if I have to choose one, it's Luis Aragonés who now rests in peace. While I was a player at Mallorca. I had a talk in his office that changed my life.
He said that I had done everything at Mallorca and told me to go to another club to see what my real level was. Luis had a lot of personality, but I knew how to play with that personality. He was like a father to me. It would be a great honor to be a coach like him."
