Ghana Football Association has demoted a club from premier League to division two after the found guilty in matches manipulation. According to the source Ashanti Gold SC has been relegated to division two in Ghana premier league.

Before they were demoted, Ashanti Gold SC was in position 10 in the standings with 38 points from 28 games played.
Also in the probe the Ghana Football Association found the Ashanti Gold SC coach Thomas Duah guilty and he has also been suspended from the football related activities for two years.
Also the Ashanti Gold SC president Kwaku Frimpong has also been banned for 10 years from any football related activities and he has been fined GHS 100,000 for involving in betting and match fixing.

The GFA is still carrying out more investigation on other clubs plus players who might have involved in the manipulation.
