Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed why he is happy after the fall down of the proposed Super League by top clubs in Europe.
The Norwegian says it doesn't make sense for a great club to use short cuts in European competitions.
The former Molde boss says it is a must for any club to fight for their success adding as for the Manchester United family, eagerness to be successful is driving them in their games and so he is happy ESL is nowhere in Europe again.
The manager also says the Reds Devils was against the formation of the super league and he supports the protests that are going on to protect local football.
Solskjaer says United has progressed in English football and fear of failure is what is making them move back to the top adding that they aim to win trophies.
Also, he warns that ESL was meant to kill football and destroy the game and it would be worse if the league would have been allowed to continue.
The Sun sports reveals that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not informed about ESL and he just heard it in news blaming his boss Joel Glazier for the stance and its failure is something to celebrate at.
