English Premier League race continues today when Chelsea welcomes its rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge with both teams in dire need to win to accomplish desired place in EPL table and European aims. Chelsea has only lost 2 of their 25 matches since signing of the new coach while Arsenal has been struggling to make it to a desirable position.
Currently in the EPL table, Chelsea stands at position 4 with 64 points having played 35 games while the Gunners stands at position 9 with 52 points after successfully playing 35 games. From the last match, Chelsea showed an impressive performance after thrashing Manchester City 2-1 thus delaying title celebrations while at the same time strengthening their race to finish top four in EPL table. On the other hand, Arsenal won against Westbrom in their last EPL match. In the last 5 EPL matches, Chelsea has won 4 games and drawing 1 while Arsenal has won 3 drawn 1 and lost 1.
My prediction: Chelsea 2- Arsenal 0
Chelsea might be without with Andreas Christensen who picked an injury against Manchester City match while Granit Xhaka will miss out due to groin complaint in Arsenal squad.
I fancy Chelsea will win this match and collect all the 3 points.
