Kenyan International midfielder Alwyn Tera clocked full 90 minutes for his side Ararat Armenia against Alashkert in the Armenian premier league match.The two sides finished on a 1.1 draw as Ararat Armenia moved to 58 points on top of the league table.The Kenyan has been a mainstay for his side since joining them in 2021 from Georgian giants Sarbutulo FC.
If Alwyn Tera wins the Armenian premier league, he will join the likes of Ayub Timbe and Joseph Okumu who have already backed a silverware with they respective sides.Although,the draw minimised their chances of lifting the trophy, Ararat Armenia will be working hard to restore their winning ways as fast as possible. 
The news comes at a time when the national team Harambee Stars is set to face off against Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Burundi and Namibia in the Ivory Coast 2023 African cup of nations. The draw was done yesterday in the evening leaving Kenyans happy.The group looks favourable for kenya despite the tricky Namibian side.Kenyan Neighbours Uganda and Tanzania were placed in the same group together with Algeria to set the CECAFA derby.If Harambee Stars players remain fit,it will be interesting to see the new crop of players who have secured big deals in Europe come back to represent the country. With the likes of Henry Meja and Shichenje joining AIK of Sweden, the national team coach(not yet employed)will have to chose his squad wisely.

Ivory Coast is one of the favourites to lift the trophy since 2015.Theie home advantage will be vital looking at their squad. It is one of the best teams in Africa at the moment. Another favourite is world cup bound Senegal.
