Key Chelsea Midfielder Likely To Miss This Weekend's Match Due To A Knee Injury

Thomas Tuchel's side is back to premier league action this weekend as the blues play against Tottenham Hotspurs in the London derby.

The Chelsea vs Tottenham clash will be the first game of the blues at Stamford bridge and it will be a chance for new signings like Kalidou Koulibaly, Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella to play in front of their fans at home.

Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic who missed out in the first game against Everton will likely miss this weekend's clash against Tottenham in what seems like a knee injury.

Thomas Tuchel is likely to be without the midfielder after he suffered a knew injury that may see him sidelined for the game at the weekend.

Thomas Tuchel however has other options to choose from in the absence of Mateo Kovacic with N'golo Kante, Jorginho, Conor Gallagher and Loftus-Cheek all fit to play in midfield incase Mateo Kovacic misses out in the derby.
