The blues are currently the premier league leaders. They lead the way in the league this season after seven matches. They sit top of the pile on 16 points, one point clear of Liverpool in second.
Chelsea have just lost once this season, to Manchester City last month, and will be ready to build on their win over Southampton prior to the international break.
Several players are likely to miss the next game against the championship promoted team Brentford. This player include Christian Pulisic who has been nursing his injury since he played the opening match of the premier league and scored for Chelsea.
Another doubt is James who has also a knee injury which made him not to participate in the three lions campaign towards qualification of the next year world cup.
Romelu Lukaku also is likely to miss the match although it is not confirmed. Other players likely to miss include Thiago Silva due to Covid restrictions and Kante due to the match fitness.
