CECAFA Under 23: Groups, Fixtures, Kick Off Time, Date And The Hosting Nation

CECAFA under 23 championships will officially kick off on Sunday, July 18, 2021, with the defending champions, Uganda tussling it out with DR. Congo in the first match of the tournament. Late on the same day the hosting country, Ethiopia will play against Eritrea.A total of 9 teams qualified and have been grouped into 3 groups. Kenya has been placed in group C which is considered to be the easiest group among the three. The other two countries which have been included in group C are South Sudan and Djibouti.

Group A contains the defending champions Uganda, Dr. Congo, and our neighbors Tanzania. Group B will have the host nation, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Burundi.

All the teams that finish on top of their groups will advance to the semifinals plus the best runners up. The semi-finals will be played on July 28, 2021, and the finals will take place on July 30th. Check out the full fixtures below.
