Champions league winners Chelsea have endured a silent transfer window this summer although they are expected to be make a few additions to their squad.
The club are however braced for departures either on a permanent deal or on loan and the first player whose departure from the bridge appears imminent is Billy Gilmour who looks certain to join Norwich.
The Canaries are big admirers of the Scotland international and will be announcing the deal to sign Gilmour from Chelsea for a season loan long deal once the player completes his isolation having tested positive for the coronavirus.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the newly promoted premier league side are set to sign Billy for the coming season.
"Negotiations now at final stages between Chelsea and Norwich for Billy Gilmour. He’s set to join #NCFC from Chelsea on loan until June 2022, confirmed loan fee agreed too."Romano tweeted.
