However, there have been a number of goalkeepers in the history of football who have played a significant role in goal scoring. Free kicks and penalties account for the majority of these goals.

Many football fans remember Higuita from the 1995 match between Colombia and England, when he made a scorpion save to keep a ball out of the net. He was well-known in the field for his acrobatic abilities. It was a lot of fun to watch him play. Rene Higuita had a total of 41 goals in his career.
4. Dimitar Ivankov
Dimitar is a Bulgarian goalkeeper who has retired from the game. He had a 16-year successful career. Dimitar has formerly represented Levski Sofia, Kayserispor, and Bursaspor. He's scored 42 goals, the majority of which were penalty kicks.
3. Johnny Vegas
Johnny Vegas is a Peruvian goalkeeper. He's scored 45 goals throughout his career.
2. Jose Luis Chilavert
Jose Luis has played for a number of clubs, including Paraguay, Real Zaragoza, and Strasbourg. He had a total of 67 goals.
1. Rogerio Ceni
With 131 goals, the Brazilian goalie holds the record for most goals scored by a goalkeeper. He scored 70 penalties and 61 free kicks during his career.
