Xhaka 'Handed Leadership In Arteta's New-Look Arsenal Side' In Huge Updates From Emirates.

Arsenal have managed two comfortable victories of the season in the just started Premier League campaign. However after making Martin Odegaard as the club captain the manager has decide to make more significant improvements in the leadership side. According to Daily Mail report the gaffer is happy to have picked Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Jesus to help Martin Odegaard in the roles.

As per the publication Xhaka has been given a leadership role within the Mikel Arteta's squad. The same report by the Athletic claims that both Xhaka and Gabriel Jesus have been nominated by Arteta to serve in squad leadership roles at Emirates.

This is good news to Arsenal fans to see a group of three in the leadership core at the club especially. After the departure of the Frenchman Lacazette this summer after expiry of his contract. This means they will also be called upon to take the armband in a situation where Martin Odegaard is not around or on the pitch.
