KOLN V LEIPZIG
Two interesting coaches are in situ for this with 67-year-old veteran Friedhelm Funkel pitting his wits against the next big thing in Julian Nagelsmann, strongly linked to the Bayern job when it becomes available.
Koln have not kept a clean sheet in 13 games - the longest such run in the whole league, and have also failed to score 11 times this season. Not a good mix all in all and certainly explains why the Billy Goats have inexorably slipped into the bottom two.
Leipzig should seal the three points, plunging Koln into further trouble at the foot of the table.
Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals
SIVASSPOR V BESIKTAS
Sivasspor beat Genclerbirligi 3-2 last time out. They were abysmal in the first half and went 2-0 down, but the half time changes made by Calimbay worked exceptionally well and Sivasspor managed to come back. They've been the in-form side for a while now, and at home they are particularly hard to beat. Against Besiktas, they will be more cautious than they usually are. Expect them to lower the tempo, defend aggressively and try to hit the Black Eagles with long balls to their wingers.
Besiktas were held to a surprise draw by Ankaragucu last time out. They enjoyed a fantastic first half where they dominated possession, didn't allow Ankaragucu a single shot, and looked unplayable at times. In the second half, they collapsed. The defence lost all organisation and discipline, midfield looked exhausted, and attackers weren't fed enough. Some of the more experienced players are looking tired at the moment, but Yalcin doesn't like rotating, especially his midfielders.
This is going to be a very tough game for the leaders. A draw here wouldn't be counted as a massive loss in the title race as Sivasspor are very strong.
Prediction: Both teams to score
