Valencia drew 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano to climb up to position 9 with 19 points while Getafe were held into a goalless draw by Mallorca to climb up to position 19 with 10 points. Celta saw off Alaves 2-1 at home, goals courtesy of Aspas and Santi Mina to climb up to position 13 in the La Liga table with 16 points.
