Back in the day while at Catalan club Barcelona,Argentina's Lionel Messi was the best player in the world. The many goals he scored, assists he provided and trophies he won are proof of this. All this however changed after he joined French giants Paris Saint Germain last summer.Messi has been nowhere to be seen scoring only eight goals in over twenty games played. This however changed yesterday during their Ligue One clash against Montpellier.
Messi reminded us of the good old Barcelona days by scoring two beautiful goals and providing one assist in their four goal win.He also won the man of the match award after making four successful dribbles, eight key passes, four big chances created and three shots on target. These two goals saw him also become the first player in the history of the game to score ten plus goals and also provide ten plus assists in fifteen consecutive seasons. If his performance yesterday is what is to go by,Messi is going to the best in the world once again.
