Currently they are in the quarter finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Here is how they have replaced their former best players in the current squad.

2. Thierry Henry - He was the France national team best playmaker. Kylian Mbappe has replaced him in the team. Mbappe has scored 5 goals and gave 2 assists in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

3. Patrick Vieira - His creativity in the midfield has been taken over by Paul Pogba who plays as a central midfielder.
