Chelsea injury list is getting longr with every game. Yesterday, the blues conceded more than one goal in a Premier League match for the first time this season.
Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the season and it did them quite the damage. After a long reign at the top, Chelsea are now third best considering the Premier League table standing.
Chelsea did not field their strongest lineup though. With over six players injured, Chelsea did put up a nice show. Thiago Silva and Mason Mount were on target but a last minute Masuaku's deflection effort snatched all three points for David Moyes.
Ben Chilwell, Ngolo Kante, Romelu Bolingoli Lukaku, and Trevoh Chalobah were all unfit even before the match. After the game Thomas Tuchel confirmed fresh injuries to his squad. Thomas Tuchel, "Kai has huge pain. Marcos has back pain. It’s another two substitutes, two injuries. We have to deal with it. Edoud Mendy is going through a bit of a rough period. I don’t know why. He’s lost a little bit of confidence." The boss said he has no idea when Ngolo Kante will be available.
