UEFA Champions League

Man United's Degea Finally Makes New Demands After Heartbreaking Second Leg Nightmare

For three times in back to back Champions League season Manchester United failed to go past round of 16, despite having carry a 1-1 advantage from first leg at Wanda Metropolitano, and this is an obvious frustration for long serving goal keeper David Degea, who now as well set new demands.

After being toothless in their tonight's game David De Gea now demands for much more' from everyone at the club, and giving out his statement at Club's official website as also reported by Men he revealed:

"Difficult to describe with words how I feel, how we feel," he said. "It's another tough moment for us, it wasn't enough what we did to beat Atletico in two games. They're an experienced team, they know how to play those games very well and it's a very difficult moment for us.

"It's always tough when you go out of the Champions League, especially the way we did. We got a good draw in Madrid, play here with the fans. I don't know, to be honest, we don't win the game, we're out again, another bad year for us, it's very, very tough.

"You're right, too many years without any trophies, we are fighting for trophies. So I think we need to be clear, we want to achieve good things, fight for trophies.

"Of course, we want the best for the club, especially myself, I've been here many, many years, I love the club. You saw the fans today, they have been amazing in a difficult season again."
