Over the last seven months, Kenyan football has been full of drama.It all started in late 2021 when the Kenya football governing body Football Kenya Federation (FKF) was disbanded following corruption allegations on the federations president, Nick Mwendwa.Since then, a lot has been witnessed in the country's field of football as so far a total of two committee's have been formed to lead the country's football matters.
On top of that, Kenya received a suspension which killed both Harambee Stars and Starlets dream of participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2024 and 2022 respectively.Current news however indicate that Nick Mwendwa is now a free man after the withdrawal of his corruption charges by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
