Olunga Did Not Receive a dime in 769 Million Transfer Fee

Celebrated Kenyan footballer, Michael Olunga has made a revelation about his footballing career. This involved his recent transfer early this year. Olunga left Japanese football club Kashiwa Reysol after two seasons in the country. In 72 matches played, the kenyan international scored 61 goals.

Kashiwa Reysol sold Michael Olunga for 700 million to Al Duhali after buying him for 200 million. Al Duhali bought michael olunga out of hia contract but they had an option of negotiating the transfer fee.

The Harambee Stars forward revealed that he was sold for Sh769 million, the transfer that saw him join his current Qatari club, Al-Duhail and yet, he did not receive a shilling from it.

This took place in a recent exclusive interview with Jalango as the player stated that footballers have no rights to transfer fees paid by clubs.

In his statement, the striker said, " The club has invested in you and it needs to recouo the money like any other business. "
