Man United: De Jong Or Declan Rice Transfer Verdict, Bissaka's United Future Thrown In Doubt

Hello Red Devils, here are the transfer stories you shouldn't miss today.

Who would you prefer for your right back, Denzel Dumfries or Achraf Hakimi?

As per We All Follow United, that is a question Ten Hag is contemplating, as multiple reports indicate that signing a right back is the next step in Ten Hag's United rebuild. Speculation suggests that Diogo Dalot is in the Dutch tactician's plans, but Bissaka could be offloaded to make room for a new right back, possibly Dumfries or Hakimi. Between Hakimi and Dumfries, Hakimi could demand a large fee and a lot of convincing, whereas Dumfries might be less expensive to price out of Inter Milan, and Ten Hag could use his Dutch connections to bring him to Old Trafford. Any United fan will tell you that their marquee signing this summer could be Frankie de Jong, despite the fact that the Dutch international's deal is proving difficult. According to reports, De Jong is not interested in joining United, a situation that has many people talking. Teddy Sheringham, a former Manchester United striker, isn't convinced De Jong is what the club needs.

Sheringham said (as per the Mirror), "He's a big name, but I don't think he is one that is going to set the world alight at United and really come in and grab it by the scruff of the neck."

Sheringham, for one, believes United should rekindle their interest in two Premier League favorites, Declan Rice and Harry Kane.

Sheringham claimed (as per the Mirror), "If they'd gone out and broken the bank for Declan Rice or Harry Kane—I know West Ham and Spurs fans are going to castigate me again for saying this sort of thing—but that is what you have got to do to make a statement."
