Despite Kenya's suspension by FIFA over third party interference on football matters, the FIFA World Cup Trophy has finally arrived in Kenya safely.The trophy landed in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at around noon after which it was taken to the state house where H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to view and touch it.
The trophy's arrival in Kenya is part of the 51 countries tour before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar scheduled for later this year.With the trophy expected to remain in Kenya for two days, Coca-Cola is set to host a consumer and public viewing of the trophy at KICC on Friday 27th the all day.
After Kenya, the trophy will move to South Africa where it will stay between 28th to 30th after which it will return to East Africa in Tanzania between May 31st and June 1st.The only people who are allowed to touch the trophy are heads of state and footballers who have won it initially.
