Where Raila Odinga Spent his Saturday Just a Day After DP William Ruto Graced the Same Event

Just a day after deputy president William Ruto spent his Friday at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga visited the same place.

The former Prime Minister was at Kasarani where the Kenya Olympic trials are currently happening with Raila saying that he enjoyed enjoying his Saturday there.

All the athletes that will qualify will represent Kenya in the Tokyo Olympics saying that they are unparalleled brand ambassadors for the nation.

"Some of the most competitive races in athletics occur during the Kenyan Olympic trials. I enjoyed spending part of my day watching our athletes compete for slots to represent our nation at the Tokyo Olympics. All the best to our unparalleled Brand Ambassadors!"Raila Odinga https://t.co/OM1kSC5gam

On his party deputy president William Ruto noted that he believes that the athletes can make it and hence urged them to fly the Kenyan flag even high.

"Joined athletics fraternity for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics trials at the Moi International Sports Centre-Kasarani, Nairobi County; urged the champions to show class, display character and fly our flag high."Deputy President William Rutohttps://t.co/jxU6ShfZMk

Currently, Two-time New York Marathon winner Geoffrey Kamworor will lead the Kenyan men's long-distance track team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in 2021 after winning the men's 10,000m at the Kenyan trials.

Unlike in the past, there is more than passing interest in Kenya’s women runners who this year could finally match their male counterparts on the Olympic medal podium especially considering that Jelimo has taken the European circuit by storming with her season leading times.
