Atletico Madrid and ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez broke into tears after being subbed off from the pitch after spending just thirteen minutes for his side during the high voltage clash. Porto hosted Atletico Madrid for the second leg of group stage fixtures with both teams contending for second spot to qualify for the round of 16 teams.
Suarez who plays as a striker for his side could have missed one of the most fascinating Champions League games as he watched in utter dissapointment from the bench. Suarez was subbed after picking a mild injury at the start of the game. Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring for Atletico Madrid with Correa and Rodrigo De Paul adding the third goal for the visitors.
Despite Atletico Madrid qualifying for the round of 16, it will be a clash to commemorate, a game that saw three plays sent off, two from Porto and one from Atletico Madrid. However, it is still a doubt in whether Luiz Suarez will be ready for next weekend's despite having a mild injury.
