Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar has already told fans a very potential world star playing for Manchester United currently.
The Dutch who enjoys his stint as sports director at Amsterdam raised eyebrows after agreeing with some Reds on Brazilian star Antony Santos.
He claims the attacker is still very young and very potential that Ajax still wanted to keep him for a year longer. He claimed that they challenged Manchester United to go as higher as possible but his exceptional talent didn't allow them to turn him down.
Speaking to The Athletic, the former Red didn't hesitate to say: "Still young, still potential," van der Sar told The Athletic. "We would have liked to keep him here one year longer — there was not a dire need to sell him, we had money in the bank — but the fee got so high. We challenged United to go as far as possible. They have a potential world star."
