Mikel Arteta the Arsenal coach is in search of a new right-back defender to replace Hector Bellerin who has been linked with a move to Inter Milan. Hector Bellerin is set to succeed Archraf Hakimi who is linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain.
In response to that the north Londoners have shown interest in signing Barcelona right-back Sergio Dest who has spent almost a year at Barcelona after joining the club last October from Ajax in a 23million pounds deal. Even though other clubs such as Bayern Munich and Juventus have also made an approach on the Barcelona star, Dest seems to be keen on staying at his current club.
According to reports Barcelona is wishing to offload a number of their players to balance their books and Dest is expected to bring the club around 25 million pounds if the move is successful. The United States International was elemental in their Copa del Rey glory last season.
