'Letting Werner Go Was A Mistake' Chelsea Fans React To Poor Performance From Same Old Players

Chelsea will face a difficult test to acquire Champions league qualification with their group now looking like the toughest one of the lot. Chelsea did not particularly have a bad game against Salzburg.

However, the attacking problems which bugged Tuchel during his tenure are back to haunt new manager Graham Potter. Chelsea sold Timo Werner for a meagre 20 million euros.

While he was not their greatest goal scorer, Werner's attitude and ball carrying ability, made him a better player than the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic.

Ziyech's performance against Salzburg in particular has left fans shocked. Ziyech was almost sold back to Ajax when Man United bought Anthony from them.

However, Chelsea we're reportedly asking for more money than expected. Currently, Ziyech seems to have lost all his confidence. He no longer tries his audacious hits from outside the box which would normally rest in the top corner.

Ziyech, is also not able to finish simple chances or dribble past full backs. Ziyech and Pulisic's performances were one of the reasons why Tuchel was sacked with the manager not being able to bring the best out of them.
