Cases of gender based violence are currently on the rise as innocent ladies complain of harassment from their husbands. This comes after Agnes Tirop's murder which created limelight into what is happening in the society behind the cameras. After the creation of awareness on gender based violence, two more athletes have opened up on their troubled relationships.
According to the source, the former All-Africa 3000 metres Steeplechase champion has opened up. Bosibori claimed that her husband scammed her and took her hard hustled money. She said that her husband took all her property and now, her life and that of her children in danger. This forced her to retire from athletics after running broke as she was recruited into Kenya police.
Another athlete called Joan Chelimo said that the only thing she managed to secure from her relationship was her life and her children. She claimed to have lost everything to her husband several years ago.
