Wyene Rooney could not save Derby from being relegated to third division of English fooball from the championship on Monday night.
Derby County were forced to join league one outfits after a loss to Queens park Rangers on the final day of the championship fixtures.
And Rooney who had stated clearly his dream to manage Manchester United or Everton in the premier league was forced to answer questions after this shutdown.
With a take over planning to take place as the club next season, Rooney was asked whether his stay at the club could be influenced by the take over or not.
According to the former United skipper, he fears where for the club and for his coaching career if at all the take over does not take place at the club.
However, Rooney has assured his club that they must be ready to get back to their level and enjoy at Pride Park if at all take over takes place.
"I really fear for where the club will end up. The club's future is in doubt if that doesn't happen. My future's in doubt"
"If it happens I want to rebuild the club and you see what it means to the fans every week. We're all proud to be here and I want to be the one to try and bring them happy days back."
