Christiano Ronaldo will not be able to make his debut for new club Al Nassr today. This is because of a suspension given to him for smashing an Everton fans phone. The incident happened in April 2022. Ronaldo was seemingly not contented with the results of the match where they drew 1:1.
This evening the Saudi based club will play against Al Tai. Ronaldo is not in the starting line up nor is he on the bench. The club had already sold 28,800 ticket's to the fans to come and watch the match. This ban was only limited to club matches,one would ask why he played the world cup despite having the ban.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Ospina will start between the sticks. The squad has a number of B team players starting. Star man Vincent Aboubakar is also not part of the squad. The match starts at 6:00 pm Friday.
