All athletics events in Kenya has been suspended for a period of two weeks in honour of fallen athlete's who was found dead in his home Iten. The government of Kenya has issued this directives in honour of Agnes Jebet Tirop who is two times World championship bronze medalist winner.
His body was found dead in his home in Iten, a place reserved for training of long distance runner. However, the details have not yet emerged of the cause of his death as the government is working to uncover the cause.
This followed the suspension of athletics in Kenya as the country will held the mourning of Tirop during this tough time. The country has lost a great upcoming world champion in long distance run. All the activities concerning athletics have been suspended with immediate effect for the next two weeks.
